Eight years, six hundred and forty brides, and a firm belief that a wedding morning should be the calmest part of the day.
how it started
One kit, one folding chair, one very patient friend.
Rosie started Bloom & Bliss in 2017 out of a spare room, doing her friends' faces for free and then for twenty dollars and then, eventually, for a living. The studio on Marigold Lane came in 2020, and the plants arrived with it and have been multiplying ever since.
The thing that has never changed is the tone of the room. Nobody here will tell you what needs fixing. There is no mirror turned away from you until a dramatic reveal, no upselling, and no commentary on your skin unless you ask for it.
You should recognise yourself. That is the whole brief, every single time.
There are four of us now — three artists and a hair stylist — and we still take one wedding a day, because two has never once been a good idea.

How it works
From first message to touch-up kit, here is exactly what happens.
Say hello
Tell us the date, the vibe and roughly how many faces. We reply within a day, always, even to say we are booked.
Trial & tweak
Two hours in the studio finding the exact look, photographed in three lightings so you can see it properly later.
Lock the date
A 25% deposit holds it. We send a written timeline four weeks out and share it with your photographer.
The big day
We arrive early, set up quietly in the best light in the room, and hand you a touch-up kit before we go.

Arrive early
Always thirty minutes before the timeline says. Nobody has ever complained about this.
Write it down
A real timeline, four weeks ahead, shared with the photographer and whoever is in charge of the morning.
Patch test
At the trial, every time, on skin that can react. Fragrance-free bases as standard.
Match properly
Sixty-two foundation shades and artists trained to mix, not to make do.
Read the room
Some mornings want music and prosecco. Some want silence. We will follow your lead.
Say when we cannot
If we are booked or not right for what you want, we will send you three people who are.

Rosie founded the studio and takes most of the bridal work. She is the fastest and the calmest, and she is the one who will notice you have gone quiet and quietly fix whatever caused it.
Neve came from theatre and does everything bold — she is who you want for the evening look, the editorial day and the second-look change.
Tomas teaches all the one-to-one lessons and has an unnerving ability to look at a bathroom shelf and identify the one product ruining everything.
Ash is our hair stylist and works alongside whoever is on makeup, which is the only reason our morning timelines actually hold.
